The words of Baden Powell, the founder of the Scouting movement, have been inspiring us for decades. With the recent global health crisis, his words have become uniquely poignant and compelling. Venturing Crew 75, A Senior (14-20) Adventure Scouting program has been stepping up during these challenging times to do what it does best – serve youth and community.

Your gift will provide the invaluable programs and leadership training that influence Scouts like ours who placed two dozen flags on graves in a forgotten cemetery in Willow Springs or fallen soldiers going all the way back to the Revolutionary War. We have helped deliver several hundred pounds of food during a Food Drive.

Give Adventure this holiday season! Special Thank you to all of our donors in 2022! It’s back this year – it’s a great time to finish your giving for taxes before December 31!

Giving Tuesday takes place on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving and is a day to give back to the community following the consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This year, Giving Tuesday will be observed on Nov. 28.

The campaign was launched in 2012 by the 92nd Street Y, a New York City-based cultural and community center, and the United Nations Foundation. Its website says it “has engaged over 30,000 organizations worldwide,” including Microsoft, Google, PayPal and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, among others.

Outside of fees, 100% of the funds go to Venturing Crew 75, who schedules adventures and trips year round, buy materials for projects, and uses it for creating a communmity youth program for youth specifically aged 14-20.
